It helps to make your browser window fairly wide: you should be able to see a narrow vertical strip of dark blue on the right hand side of your screen. This is the best width for viewing this site on a desktop computer monitor. The page will also scale and change its layout for a smaller screen such as a tablet or a phone, if you are using one.
How do you make your desktop computer browser window wider or narrower? Place your mouse arrow over the bottom right-hand corner of the browser window, LEFT-click to “grab” the corner, and drag to the right, or to the left, or up and down, if you like.
Hint: If you Drag “Up and Left” a good way, the browser window shrinks to a size as small as a phone’s screen: you can see how the page reshapes itself.
To search for something, click the magnifying-glass logo at the top right to open the search engine, fill in the name of the thing (upper or lower case, it doesn’t matter), and click ENTER on your keyboard.
